After finishing my University Business degree, and loving everything marketing, events and management related, I dived into various sales and marketing roles in the corporate world, as well as network marketing.

In my 20s I was working climbing the corporate ladder, working long hours, and I got a senior marketing position at a $90Mil per year business. I was hired to make changes, infuse a new marketing plan into the business, and when I got into the role, all I got was 'great job', but we don't want to change. The company was so set in their ways, with senior staff who had been there for 25 years, who just wanted to cruise along without evolving.

I felt rejected, like my ideas weren't heard or seen. I gave so much to this company. It hit my self-esteem pretty hard, and I realised, I was just a number in this business.

I was laughed at as I was a female in a male dominant business in a senior position, my experience I was bringing to the business, wasn't valued.

Growing up, I watched my parents both run their own small businesses and they were around to see me achieve things. They were there for the small things - the presentations, awards, performances. I wanted that for me. So I decided to start my own event styling business on weekends whilst I was working my corporate job.

I never knew how much starting this business would change me. It evoked a creativity I had within, but didn't get to use in my corporate job. I found a love in the small things, making beautiful memories for people, something that I was building on my own, it gave me an energy and spark I hadn't felt before.

And I didn't look back. I fell pregnant with my first son, resigned from my corporate job and whilst I raised my family, I created this amazing business creating events for all sorts of special occasions. It was such a fulfilling time. A creative outlet.

I was then asked by a local service based business in allied health to help them scale and grow their business. The owner had built her business to $40K months simply from word of mouth and referrals through networking and building relationships. She was doing astoundingly well, however she wanted to reach more people and scale up, but didn’t know how to do it. She had big dreams for her business, and brought me in to make it happen for her. I trialled and errored lots of different forms of marketing, set up new processes, methods and I throughout this time I created a framework which I now call my Magnified Marketing Framework.

It’s a 360 degree holistic approach to marketing your business, and turning your business into a sort after brand that is in demand. People started finding her business, we had more enquiries than we could ever imagine, and we grew revenue, sales and profit, year by year. We scaled from $500K revenue to $2.5Million, using the framework steps I now teach in my 7X Elite Business Program.
